1800flowers.com Placed an order with 1800Flowers.com Internet
My girlfriend lives 2 1/2 hours away from me. Her birthday was today and I was going to surprise her and show up at her work to take lunch. However I had issues at work so I couldnt get away.
I decided I would send her flowers. I got on 1800flowers.com's website and found what I wanted. But I wanted to call and speak to a live person to make sure that my order would get there before she left work at 5pm.
I spoke to a gentleman named Floyd on the phone and told him what I had picked out, gave him all the information and asked him if he was positive that it would be there by 5pm.
He told me definitely and asked for my credit card number. I asked again "are you positive it will be there on time? Today is her birthday".
Again he said yes. I gave my card number and once he gave me my confirmation number I begged him "please make sure this gets done".
At 4:45pm I get a phone call from 1800flowers telling me that they wont be delivering today. I was livid. Then the young kid that called me says "we will deliver them tomorrow". I told him "no you wont. I want you to cancel my order and issue me a refund".
He says "whats the big deal?" At this point I wanted to go through the phone at him. I told him "Just give me my money back".
He then tells me that it will take 3-5 days for me to get my money back. 3-5 days?!?
I told him I wanted to speak to a supervisor. He was unprofessional and didnt speak very good english. He put me on hold 4 times totaling about 20 minutes before a supervisor came on.
The supervisor could care less what I had to say. And when I said I was thoroughly disgusted with 1800flowers she said "oh well is there anything else I can do for you today?". She then offered me $20 off my next purchase with them for any inconvenience.
I will never give them my business again.
They were unprofessional, rude and didnt do what they agreed upon.
