Initially your "SURE" comment really pissed me off , (FYI - my family obligation was moving back home (3hrs drive from my office location) to take care of my FATHER who was diagnosed with Cancer ) but that anger passed and I actually felt bad for almost cussing a grown adult that can't even count..... ie you worked for JB for one year yet recited my "textbook" answer for years????

You are right that every one of those guys that is in the industry works their asses off. You are also right that a lot of new grads are looking for more than the normal entry level and see an opportunity with this business model. The problem lies in truthful representation of earnings, growth, and the amount of work needed to get tto the promised land. The business is purposely designed to thrive on the backs of the poor and aspiring as well as those that are too nave to know any better. Those that are aware of the reality are either in charge or the lucky few. I was close to being an owner about 6 years ago and I made the conscious decision that I didn't want to make a living off of the nearly unattainable hopes and dreams of those struggling below me. I decided to get back into the REAL sales workforce and take with me the lessons that I learned and make the best of it. I learned a lot when I was in the Biz and I use some of the skills and confidence that I gained to this day. But that doesn't excuse the reality of what this business model truly does to people, year in and year out. I made roughly 60k when I was a leader of my team which is not bad for a young guy. But when you consider that I was working 9-9 M-SA is it really worth it? I make just about the same now working for a REAL advertising firm that offers benefits and CARES about their workforce. I am so sick of hearing that people can make up their own minds and no one is scammed by these companies. CYDOR, Granton Marketing, or any other DS-Max style business is a load of BS and survives based on out right lies and a work force comprised of the nave grads, unemployables, and the desperate. I don't mean to rag on those that have and are working with one of these companies, but let's face it; the business needs these people to buy into the concept to survive. For people like Ryan, from the creative location of your mom Ontario, all you have to offer is figures. $$$, real or perceived is all that matters. Clear your conscious by stating that everyone has a choice and that the opportunity is real. If it was a real business then where are the 50+ year old owners other than the few VP's here and there? You think people would walk away from a living like that? Let's face it Ryan from your mom Ontario. The business is a load of BS and that 300k you made was through the bull s**t DS-Max multilevel marketing scheme that has churned and burned thousands of people and through efforts of people like your self will churn and burn thousands more.

You say in your first paragraph that you have been to multiple interviews with the companies you listed and are pissed because of their association with Cydcor....

You then talk some non sense about corporate taxes and owners and then say " i should know I was one of them"

O.k. so if you were an owner how is it that you are attending interviews at companies that work with Cydcor? I mean I was an owner, I know the names of the other offices. WTF does that piece of paper give you... and just to let you know I have a degree so I was one of them. I'll tell you any degree can be taken by anyone if you go to chapters and buy the books for the program... so you aren't special

So to sum it up... People who write stuff on here should put the same amount of effort into working as they do talking s**t about people who worked their asses off to achieve a) maintaining a possitive attitude, B) second to none work ethic and c) a COMPANY

Just to give some backround on myself .... I worked with one of the comanies listed and then opened my own.. I learned and gained way more skills with them than any school could teach me. I also opened a company which generated 385 000 my first year. I have since left due to family obligations. I have nothing but the highest level of respect for all mentioned. They work their asses off everyday.

You should also investigate into the people who run these a kind of websites... LOL cause they are wanted for extortion and fraud HAHAHA that's hilarious... you guys are aainst "scams " yet the mods of these kind of sites are the kings of scams... LOL

I been looking for work and I saw their ad on craigslists in toronto section and they left me like 3 messages to get back to them to set up an interview for customer service inbound. tina assured me it was inbound customer service job and no sales were invloved so I am thinking a call center inbound.

I set up my interview went there wasted gas and time just to sit there and find out it was sales for rogers cable just by setting up a booth at some department store and disturb people shopping to buy rogers services and this is what thy called inbound customer service. false advertisment again and I goggled their phone number and it had mutiples agencies names listed wiht that number.

I was so pissed off that I had a bad review on craigslists about them and soon after with in hours they delete that customer service ads. I am getting so fed up of these false and annoying companies who prey on desperate job hunters like myself just to find out it is all a scam and I want people to read this and save them time and money on this company. and trust me I will be adding any more false advertising companies on here.
