I was scammed by this dealership. The owner will befriend you then rip you off! 1st Choice Auto Sales (Leslie Garnett) repossessed my vehicle even though I was within the 10 day window of making my payment. (I had made ALL previous payments!)The owner would NOT accept my payment on that day (which was the last day due) plus she also threatened me verbally and I have witnesses to that fact.

The original contract does not have my $1500 down payment listed. The owner told me it was because the $1500 was for all the interest and she didn't put it on the contract.???? I questioned the owner at the time of the contract signing and she then told me she would write up a new contract, which she never did. I believed her because she is very good at making you feel as if she cares. I had the vehicle approximately 5 and 1/2 months.

What used car lot gives someone a car with no down payment and 0% interest and 0 finance charge? NONE. The owner (Leslie Garnett) now has the vehicle, the down payment and all other payments made on the vehicle and refuses to take a payment or give the vehicle back. And I feel like my contract is useless because of the way she wrote it! I feel like this is a scam. She has done similar things to other customers

This dealer (Leslie Garnett) also tells her customers who go through a finance company to lie about the amount of down payment they put on a vehicle (she tells them to tell the finance company they put, for example, $3000 down instead of $1500) so they can get financed, but then adds it back into the vehicle price somehow. She speaks horrible things about many of her customers as soon as they leave or as soon as she hangs up the phone.

She also has a "mechanic" who is not licensed to work on vehicles. One customer brought a vehicle back in because all the warning lights came on. After the mechanic looked at the vehicle he told the dealer it would cost $2300 to fix the car. The dealer (Leslie Garnett) told him to take out the warning light bulbs and give the car back to the customer. She also buys vehicles from the AS IS auto auction, pays someone to put an inspection sticker on them, and doesn't fully test the vehicles or even change the oil-she just has someone clean them up and puts them on her lot.

This dealer also has had several DUI's and drinks on the job. She screams at people. She is very difficult to deal with.
