1st Credit Of America Ripoff Called requiring that I pay $50.59 for a credit report from MyPerfectCredit.com that I did not receive. Chicago Illinois

Several days ago we visited the web site of MyPerfectCredit.com and were curious about what they offered. We got to a screen where we were required to select a "User ID" and a "Password" which we did not do because we could see below where they were asking for our social security number. We closed the web site.
A few days later we began receiving calls from a woman who said that we owed the $59.59 because MyPerfectCredit mailed a credit report to our address, a post office box, on July 5th. She had the correct box number. We said, "You must have the wrong person because we never ordered the credit report." She then said, "Are the last four digits of your social security number wxyz?" She had the correct last four digits. We informed her that we are disputing the claim that we owe the money.

Today we received a call from a recording that said, "There is a problem with your account. It is urgent that you call 866-505-8249 immediately to clear up the problem." The recording terminated and the line was hung up. At no time during the call was the name of the calling entity revealed.

The caller ID box showed "BLOCKED CALL" where the phone number should have appeared.

We are now being harassed mechanically as well as in person. This must be a scam on the part of 1st Credit of America or MyPerfectCredit. We are not sure which. Perhaps both.
