Seed Capital is a company focused on helping businesses thrive. They offer assistance to both existing small businesses and people that aspire to open a small business, "we help them acquire the funding to do so." Erik Gantz, the Managing Partner for Seed Capital went on to explain the vision for their company, "we just like to help out as many people as we can to achieve the dream of business ownership, and to help those that are already in business offer employment to as many people as possible."
Seed Capital does not perform lead generation, but instead relies heavily on referrals. They primarily work with franchise operators like Subway, Coldstone, Meineke. Mr. Gantz went on to explain the referral process, "when they [franchise operator] have somebody that comes to them and is interested in buying a franchise, but they don't have either any money or enough money they will refer them over to us. If they have good credit we can help them acquire funding through their good credit." Once the potential client's credit is accessed and they qualify for their services Seed Capital will then, "assist them in applying to the different banks that we [Seed Capital] use, and within about 7 to 10 days they'll have funding available to them."
