We financed our home in 2008. Not knowing how terrible this company was. If we are one day late they are calling, harassing and threatening. I would walk out but we also have a co-signer. It was financed in 2008 with a balance on 58,903. Four years later our principal balance is 61,310. Figure that out. The more we pay the higher the balance goes. We called once to say we would be two weeks late and they demanded to know where i was getting the money to pay two weeks later. The woman they put us on the phone with demanded i tell her all our bills and why did we have any bills. The most ignorant and rudest person i have ever talked to. They should not be in business at all. This is just the tip of what we have put up with since financing with this company. There arte millions of companies out there it is a shame our seller used this one!

Memphis is FULL of Ignorant, Rude CROOKS...

Memphis is ran by crooks. There is no way you could have known that being from Georgia. I have lived in several states and various cities and Memphis was and IS the absolute worst. Memphis is THUGGED. Everyone from their police to their CEO's and business leaders are THUGGED.
All Ignorant. All cutthroat. Very dirty and devious. And yes, you called it they are RUDE. They do business entirely different in that city. It is a very insulated city with very different business practices than anywhere else I have lived. At least now you know to never do business with folks in Memphis. Hope you get everything squared away.

Due to a bankrupcy, we had trouble finding anyone who would give us a loan without asking for 40% down @ a rate of 13%. Not only was 21st Mortgage will to work with us, we found them professional; concerned about taking care of our needs in a timely manner; and willing to work with us in anyway possible. They treated us with respect and we would recommend them highly!
Since I previously worked in a bank before retiring (I'm a retired accountant), I find it very hard to believe they could get away with adding to a loan vs taking away without justifing it! The aduits that were done on the books, several times a year were very, very thorough; and I don't know about you, but I've never heard of anyone getting away with embessement!
We set up auto payments, which works fine for us and as long as we have the money in the account to cover the payment I doubt we will ever hear from 21st Mortgage (which is the way it should be). If the situation was reverse and you didn't get your paycheck or SS check on time, how long would it take you to be on the phone? and how nice do you think you would be? Once again we can't thank 21st Mortgage enough for being there when we needed help the most.....
