I have worked for this security company for 2 years and they used to be pretty good. Until December 2004
all of our payroll checks have been bouncing. This has caused our banks to put our checks on hold for 3 weeks. So instead of getting paid every week we get paid every three. And we dont make enough to make it 3 weeks. Also racking up checks bouncing fees.

Now granted they pay us back but we have to wait till the next check and then it is held for 3 weeks. Our companys name is on something called a check list where nothing like ace check cash or any company that cashes check will take. They told us plenty of storys why. first it was the bank so they switched banks and then they deposited the money in the wrong account?

I dont understand its bull **** i am stuck with having to go to their bank and pay 5 dollars to get my check cashed. i would join it so i dont have to pay that but then they would just swith banks again like they always do? its pitiful. They recently swith to A.P.S american protective services because the company was getting a bad name gee i wonder why?

You Need To Check These People Out

AUTHOR: Helene - (U.S.A.)

Were you aware that the State of Texas Department of Public Safety is now in charge of what used to be the Texas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies?

They have a website where you can go and look up this security company and even the guys who run it. See who they are and where they have worked before.

You also need to call up the Social Security Administration and see if the money they took out of your check for FICA, etc. was even paid to them. THIS IS AN OLD TRICK THAT SECURITY COMPANIES USE TO CHEAT EMPLOYEES. If you do not call and check within five years after your employment there, you will NOT get your Social Security credits for that employer and your Social Security retirement check will be too low! SOCIAL SECURITY WILL MAKE THEM PAY IT IF THEY DIDN'T AND YOU REPORT IT. So at least you will have SOMETHING!

Why didn't anybody file charges with the Tarrant County District Attorney when the first paycheck bonced? This constitutes THEFT OF SERVICES! It is a felony if the amount is over $500, I think.

I am not sure if they can call the company American Protective Services because Securitas bought that company out and all rights to use that name.

You might want to send an e-mail to Securitas corporate offices and tell them that there are people using the name ofAmerican Protective Services for purposes of committing fraud ( e.g. ripping employees off by not giving the money they should have had in their paychecks!)

Next, call up the Criminal Investigation office at the Internal Revenue Services in Dallas, TX and tell them about all of these paychecks that just happen to come up short. That money is going SOMEWHERE. Let IRS determine find out where.

If you haven't QUIT that company, you need to. There are many, many other security companies in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex that are worth working for.

Just go to Rocky's police supply in Dallas and tell David that you are looking for a security job and that his father used to help people find security work.

If you haven't quit there, you might want to keep watch to see if they file bankruptcy like the one sorry security company I worked for in Austin,TX did.
Get your claim for back wages owed in early!

Sounds like nothing ever really changes in the horrible jungle of private contract security companies!

Good luck, my friend! You are going to need EVERY BIT OF IT!
