24 Hour Fitness, Monterey Park Manager Ray Chang, DC, and Alfonso are really jerks and are liars they offers us a 24 day pass then they only offer me a 10 days and try to force me to join, Or they would not honor my pass. These guy Rips off, they concersion to sign up or they'll put you pass even though a member sign you up, these guy are hard up and talk down to you especially the Manager he only like dealing with the Chinese h Monterey Park, California

I felt so violated by Raymond Chang, GM and his sales people--that I will never do business with them again. I know it a Chinese community but, this guy who is the GM, is really a abrasive, condensening and he take down to people. I work for the State of California and my work location is near this 24 Hour Fitness, so a friend who join ask me to come with her and she would get me a pass in efforts for me to join, so we could work out together.

But, I felt like a football, being tossed all over the place. The first, sales guy by the name of Alfonso, was working with me and intially and only decided to give me a 10 day pass and said, he would  extend it to 14 more days, after the 10 day period. When I when back Alfonso toss me over to DC, Alfonso, had me speaking with him because he was suppose to be some a Sales Manager. [continued below]....

..... DC didn't extend the 14 day pass but, he was tossing me over to Raymond Chang , the GM.

At this point I'm annoyed already. The next time I could not even enter the Gym, they paged Raymond, and he bascally told me that he was not going to extend the 24 day pass, because, he was going to give me a deal to become a member. This would have be great but out of the 10 day I only when twice and work out in different section of the Gym. I wanted  at least a couple days more to experience the Gym plus I wanted to try the Pool.

In short, I never got  change too fully check out the Gym, Raymond GM, DC, and Alfonso made it impossible, plus they all where caught up in some game, in trying to or expecting me to sign up right then and their. I felt as they use the 24 day pass as BATE & SWITCH Tactic to force me to join. I spoke with two other member who witness this plus my friend who sign me up and they said they, where played like that as well.

I refused to play any game, and maybe because I was black this Chinese guy Raymond didn't think I was going to join. I think he though, I had no money, so he cut me off.

I move on, to another Gym That didn't play any head games with me! But, Please be WARNED and BEWARE, Please, stay away from Raymond, DC and Alfonso at 24 HOUR FITNESS in Monterey Park!
