I too am an AOL member who has just noticed a $1 charge, and a $14.95 charge on my credit card- the same card used by AOL.

I called the 800 number, and based on my phone number they were able to bring up a member number which I promptly cancelled.

However, I am not sure what to do to get the $15.95 back.

I have also sent an email to AOL to see what they know about this situation, and to see what they can do to help.

Well what she said about not going to the company to get your 15.95 back is stupid. 1. you did sign up for it, what they did was completly legal, bargain network (the foreclosure stuff) does seem to push things on you, but have you tried asking the company for a refund? thats what you should do, you'd get that back

How to get the money back

AUTHOR: Shirley - (U.S.A.)

To get this refunded call your Credit card Co. at the number listed on the back of your card and dispute the charge. Most major banks will immediatly investigate and credit your card. DO NOT call the merchant.
