Everything here is what I couldn't post on 24 Fit FB and Yelp (due to their filter)

I attend a bootcamp class but 24 Fit supplies instructors who do not want to teach that class.  They have rotating instructors.  Some instructors are intense some are not.  This class should always be intense.

Per contract 24 Fit can raise a member's rate by 5% max per year.  But if you post it on 24 Fit FB you are banned from posting.  If they are uncomfortable with these unilateral rate raises then don't raise the rates.

Group X is overcrowded.  You can't just arrive and expect to get into a class.

You can't even pay $1 in advance to sign up because they only allow 16 members to do that.  Once those advance reservations have been depleted you're on your own.

So its impossible to plan ahead, you have to go to the club and hope that the class is not filled up.

A member expects to have access to the club and be able to sign up for Group X classes with a membership but the clubs are so overcrowded that you can't attend a class when you want.

24 Hour Fitness was the object of a leveraged buy out meaning that the owner took out a loan against all the property of 24 Hour Fitnesses across the country.  Like many homes in CA, 24 Hour owes more than its worth.

Its the bank that really owns 24 Hour Fitness.

If 24 Hour Fitness doesn't meet its new membership goals it will tank.

New members continually signing up comes at each prior member's expense.

Now to recoup the owner must continually sign up new members in order to make a profit.  Ensuring quality customer care goes against the bottom line.1 Previous Review: Hide 5/22/2011Even after making formal complaints about boot camp and the unlimited number of members and non members allowed to participate, Staff at 24 Hour continues to pack the small floor area with as many members that want to come in.

In comparison, the Antelope staff limits entry into their boot camp to those with numbered tickets and there is enough space for everybody.

If 24 Hour downtown allows the floor to be packed, why should I ever rack weights after I use them?

If 24 Hour downtown allows the floor to be packed, why should I make the effort to throw trash away in the recepticles?
