24Hr Field Services is a scam company.  They prey on independent contractors. Again it is 4 days past payroll for this company & we recieve yet another Email explaining that they cannot make payroll again with no estimated pay date. This pay period is for services rendered in JULY!!  This happens every pay period!  They expect all inspections to be completed on time or you have to do them for free yet they NEVER pay on time with no compensation for paying us late. They have it set up so if you quit they can keep all monies owed to you. Every payday that rolls around they remove the pay schedule from thier web site so they can make changes or if you did not previously print it out you would have no idea what is owed to you. Last pay period I was shorted $160.00 When I went back to check on my previously calculated payment due, many of my completed properties had been removed!  Thier excuse is always late payments from clients, that is a LIE!  I work for 8 companies and many of the same clients & they always pay on time. This is nothing short of them being greedy, crooked & irresponsible!  I have looked these people up on social media & see that they live quite an upscale lifestyle right down to inground swimming pools!  Ryan Krutzig has been formerly charged with realestate fraud & has no business even being in this business!  They count on the contractors being broke & stupid as we are independent and most of them just walk away without the money they are owed unless you want to go to Minnesota and take them to court which is exactly what Im going to do!  I hope this complaint reaches other 24HR contractors as I believe we would be much more sucsessful in a group. I have had experiences with this company dating back to 2009 & believe it is time for the Jig to be up!! I personally know of 3 other people in my area who had to walk away from this company due to non payment and this is unacceptable. Please feel free to contact me about a multiple complaint against this company as I will be moving forward with litigation. If nobody does it they will keep up thier Rip Off ways & screwing over good hard working people.

#5 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Please Beware

AUTHOR: Veronica - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, January 01, 2018

It is incredibly sad to see this company is still in business and hurting people. It is not true that for every one unhappy person this company has 100 happy employees. This company is not that large.

When I worked for them, I spoke with people on a 'daily' basis who were incredibly underminded by this company. They will use you for everything you have. As long as you are giving them what they want, which is unrealistic hard work for hardly any pay, they will be good to you.

Anyone who has ever made any decent money for this company will be removed. They find secretive and manipulative ways to make you look like you have done an awful job. When in reality, it is the few people at the helm who are ridiculously incapable of being true leaders.

Yes, reveiw the court cases on this company. And these are just the people who had the money, time, and energy to take this company to court! I got my money back from this company and had some very professional people see the truth.

The owner of the company uses business money for personal purposes. We are talking expensive trips, cars, etc. He has no clue how to manage money. When he can't pay his employees, he literally borrows money from his father.

This is a very sad group of people who make you feel like you are part of a family until, well, they show just how dysfunctional they are at having a family.

Another ripped-off employee

AUTHOR: Jay Aaron - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 17, 2017

Count me among the (now ex) employees who got ripped off by 24hr, Joe and Chris Dorpat.  After working for them for over a year and a half with no problems on my end (although or their end they paid me late approximately 75% of the time) I was abruptly let go with no notice and the company owing me over $2000.  Coincidentally Chris Dorpat seems to have moved to Vegas (or at least was doing work here).  They talk a real good game when they hire you about how much money you'll make, but when they feel like cutting you loose, you'll be out for the work you've performed.

Mike, yes they do live quite the lavish lifestyle & I repeatedly brought it up because we NEVER GOT PAID ON TIME! I don't know who that Randall guy is who said he had a great experience, but I suspect it is Chris himself! That report is full of crap! I have been doing this job for 9 years I know how to do an inspection properly. They are living beyond thier means and robbing the people who work for them. I also know 2 other people they did this to so yes it is acurate! I also looked them up and seen the real estate fraud. They went through so many people in the time I worked for them you never knew who to call! Everytime they couldn't make payroll they would simply remove the payroll schedule from the website! I always printed a copy. They make you quit and then keep your money for not giving the proper notice, then on to the next victim! As independent contractors it is very hard to go after them especially if you don't live in Minnesota but there are attorneys who will do it. I think the word needs to get out & we need a class action lawsuit , I think I deserve late fees for EVERY TIME I DID NOT GET PAID ON TIME! EVEN HOLIDAYS! THEY DID NOT CARE! They just ignore you until you go away. The most unprofessional company I have ever experienced. BBB rating does not matter as they don't deal with non payment! They don't sell anything! So don't be fooled by any if that hot air!

This Report is 100% Accurate

AUTHOR: Mike W - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, May 22, 2017

I can 100% validate this report.

I worked for Chris Dorpat, Ryan Krutzig and co for over 3 months about a year ago. Still to this day, they owe me over $1500.

They used me as a slave to fulfill work orders for them, and then didn't pay me. From what I was told by an employee who I won't name, Chris Dorpat lives a pretty lavish lifestyle.

I tried for many months to contact them, and at first they would just give me vague answers, and eventually just stopped responding altogether.

There is a lot of information online about these guys committing other acts of fraud.

This cannot go on, and I would love to get in contact with you, Deborah.

24HR Field Services is a good company

AUTHOR: Randall - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, February 16, 2017

I personally had a very pleasant experience working for 24HR Field Services.  They have been around many years & are located throughout the upper midwest with headquarters in Minneapolis.  For every 1 person who has a bad experience their are 100 I spoken too who have a good experience.  I met several people who worked there that were U.S. armed service veterans so being one myself I was happy that they seemed to make an effort to help my fellow brothers.  A few people I know were down on their luck & it was nice for a company to provide a second chance to people.  My experience was very good.  I worked there for about a year until early 2017 & loved working at my own pace.  I never experienced payment issues or delays in my year there.  The company pays on accurate inspections completed on time per the contract on what the bank accepts (which is everything given you did job correctly).  They make that very clear.  If someone is complaining about pay issues I can confirm based on my own personal experience that they must have not completed the job to specifications (go to wrong house, etc.) or uploaded it drastically late for which the bank did not pay 24HR so it's really not their fault as the company wouldn't have gotten paid on it. If someone feels strongly about it they should contact the bank directly.  BBB gives them an A+ rating & I can see why.  If I ever wanted extra cash on the side in the future I would have no issue with working there again.
