2DaRescue Director - Karen Evans (Franklin) Refuses to Refund Money Mesa, Arizona

Please proceed with extreme caution when contacting or pursuing working with this rescue and its director, Ms. Karen Evans. She was a pleasure to work with initially and appeared to be understanding of everything that we discussed in regards to the dogs we were fostering and intending on adopting. Both parties were very informed and clear about the intent to foster the dogs first to make sure that the fit was best for both the dogs and us. After we realized that the dogs were not compatible with other animals we had on the property she agreed to adopt the dogs out to other homes and refund the deposit we had made. We agreed to foster until the process was complete, however, Ms. Evans abruptly changed her mind and demanded we hand the dogs back over to her.

At that time she began making false accusations and personal attacks on us. She is now refusing to give us our money back or work with us to find another dog to adopt even though she stated both verbally and in writing that she would. She is even in breach of her own agreement that she asked us to sign. I wish we had done our research about this organization more thoroughly before working with them. They have not been in business long (only a few months) and do not have any 501(c)3 status. They are not registered with the Arizona Secretary of State as a legitimate charity either. Do your research and do NOT "donate" money for deposits or adoption fees to a "rescue" that is not a real charitable organization. They are just taking your money under the guise of saving animals lives.
