Steven Thomas & his wife Tara Thomas are engaged in a massive fraud. The Houston police is already investigating them but I thought I'd give a heads up to anyone who does business with Mr. Thomas.
The scam is simple - he used his wife to engage sellers and investors of bitcoin to sell via Paypal. After a month they disputed on their credit card, knowing that the credit card company would refiund the balance and they get to keep the bitcoin. The scam was probably initiated in order to save the failing RE360 real estate brokerage business (something Tara admitted in an email).

This report is 100% false, down to the person filing claiming to be "Bitcoin police". I am a victim of identity theft, which is being investigated by the local police as well as the fbi. My bank accounts were drained and credit cards maxed out buying a virtual currency called "Bitcoin". Most of the charges were done through my hacked PayPal account. PayPal did a thorough investigation and, with evidence received from the geeksqad of a 3rd party accessing my computer, ruled in my favor. This has nothing to do with my husbands business as 360 RE is extremely successful and is a stand up company. I'm afraid that this has everything to do with a Bitcoin seller being frustrated that he was conned out of a lot of money.... By the same person that stole all of our money as well. I have been in communication with these sellers and have offered any help from my end in an investigation moving forward, however, I have not received the same in return. Just harassing emails, posting pictures of my house and my children online and direct threats. This is a shady group who refuses to see the truth, but instead would rather act like thugs. We are trying to pick up the pieces on our end through law enforcement and our financial institutions. I would suggest they do the same and stop the harassment as we are just as much victims in this situation as they are.
