365TECHHELP www.365techhelp.com told me my computer was infected with viruses but it was not, pulled up simple diagnostic reports and said they show that my computer has malware and they can fix it for $259.95 USD. When in fact, my computer had no virus or malware and was perfectly clean. I have caught them operating under other website names and toll free numbers as well. They continue to state they are talking to me from New York, and when I ask for a local phone number they say they only have the toll free. This is a lie and these people are con artists, Brooklyn New York

PC/Internet Scammers!

This company is crooked and are stealing peoples money that don't know anything about computers.  They take control remotely, show you a page with some red exclamation points with Event Viewer, OR they show you a made up page that shows programs that don't even exist on your machine. BEWARE, as some are becoming savy and creating a virus when they take remote access to your PC or Laptop.  They you actually do have a virus and they then hold you ransome, so to speak, in order to get it removed.

Lesson learned: Call someone local that you can verify is who they say they are and are located where they say they are.  In reality, if you have a good Anti-Virus program running that should be all you need.  You pay for it because when theres a problem you can call them and they help you fix the problem free.  That's why companies that are well known Antivirus companies charge a subscription rate for each year.  They also usually have a 30 day free trial that you can download which will protect you and help keep you PC from being infected.  Don't underestimate what a good antivirus program can do and how they're Customer Service and Technicians are their for you.  If you can't afford a full year antivirus then download AVG or something like that.  They offer free A/V protection, just startpage.com it! (or google it).
