This property is currently up for Auction at Auction.com and well, the last we heard of anything as the tenants still living here was that there would be a Trustee's Sale. Of course, this was after the landlord who was foreclosed on sent his mother by to try to get us to pay her, stating that she now owned the home when she did not. It's been fun, but, I feel like perhaps perspective investors should know that this property is not only occupied, but it's occupied by tenants who have a legal claim and protections under the law to be here until May of 2018.

Given US Bank never bothered to contact us about any of this, it might be valid information for those seeking to purchase the property.

UPDATE: Dear Investors

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Monday, August 29, 2016

We just had someone take a photo of the house, from the back alley. I spent all morning trying to get ahold of someone from the bank to let us know what's going on- to no avail, so, if they're not talking to us, I imagine for you guys it's probably really difficult to get details about the place. We're pretty chill people, not crazy or going to otherwise answer the door naked or any of the other horror stories we've seen researching our particular issue. As long as you're polite and chill about it, we will be too- and we definitely do not mind letting you know about the issues you'll find here. We have been dealing with them for the past year or so- and about the only one I'm really willing to list here is the incredibly bad ductwork because it explains a bit about why we haven't left yet: there were massive issues with the HVAC system here, and the ducts which were never remedied and resulted in some insanely scary utility bills.

Friend of ours who does that sort of thing says you'll probably need to replace the whole thing in addition to a lot of the wiring and plumbing. It was kind of a hot mess to begin with. I should also probably mention that though it says 3 bedroom: it's more like, 2 with a really nice storage unit up stairs that has a half bathroom. They hadn't actually done the occupancy inspection when they moved us in and all- so, the guy comes and lets us know that there's some issue with the slope of the roof up there making that unfit for occupancy but ok for storage and something else with the basement foundation- I forget what he said but apparently it was something that could become problematic down the line.

Anyhoo- feel free to knock, there's always someone home, and we're all too happy to answer any questions you may have!
