After Weeks of looking At total dumps 417 rental Sent me to what I thought was going to be a nice house. It is 2 stories Basement with a fireplace 3 bedrooms a living room Partially unfinished Upstairs 3 bedrooms 2 living rooms kitchen Laundry room 2 car garage Nice backyard with the deck Front porch I thought okay what's the gimmick. They said normally rent is1400 a month But rather than leave it empty And you also are desiring to buy a house under contract We will let you have it for 750 a month. WOW My first feeling was What's wrong with the house... But as an ex landlord myself I knew a tenant that would take care of The property Is betterLooking Then letting it sit vacant. So on November 27th We rent the u-haul Took a week off work Signed a lease And again moving in. First thing the cable guy found a cockroach So I went out and bought a bunch of wrote stuff. Something and discovered inside the dishwasher Standing black stagnant water. I turned on the dishwasher It backed up in the sink I been turned on the disposal Which and water flying everywhere all over the cupboards the counter and pouring out from underneath the sink. We took apart the drain to find what appeared to be paper towls. Which began my fruitless Daily Phone calls to the office and to Chris Gatley. Well almost 3 weeks has gone by I have yet received a phone call Orange email Anything In response to my daily messages about not having a kitchen sink... Not to mention a dishwasher or disposal Or the gar But best part of all this is come to find out we were not told we're On a septic system That the neighbors have told me To their knowledge has not been cleaned out in over year. That they've had several tenants in here The last ones left because of the rodent problem I was never ever told about or trust me this girl would never moved in. I am alooking for past and present tenants to join me with hopefully a class action suit against them. I have contacted an attorney and am waiting for my return call. I am hoping that all of you who have been ripped of by 417rental will. Be willing to share your stories To pursue going after these people. I called the city I called the county and a Better Business Bureau the Better Business Bureau has I believe 14 cases dinner before them now they haven't attempted to resolve 12 other cases that have beenripped and lord only knows how many runners are afraid of doing anything to go after these people
