It seems only fitting that a rip off report be filed bottom of the barrel tabloid journalist 60 Minutes Australia and Michael Roberts. What's more bizarre is that this segment quotes Michael Roberts as a credible source, on his own failed polygraph about his involvement on the attempted murder of his then wife and children.
How ironic, considering that American investigative journalism show DateLine NBC interviewed the actual Sheriff who talks about Michael Roberts failing his polygraph, and 60 Minutes Australia had watched the 2 Hour Special produced by DateLine NBC prior to filming theirs (see video here)
And it gets weirder...60 MINUTES AUSTRALIA PAYS $35,000 FOR HIS STORY
Talk about egg on your face for 60 MINUTES AUSTRALIA, as if things couldn't get worse for the tabloid journalism these days: Michael Roberts is far from a victim, but is a proven "troll" and Cyber-terrorist, who admitted during on certified court reporter transcripts that he conspired to cause harm to to RIPOFFREPORT.COM and GOOGLE in the form of destruction of their business, reputation and existing and prospective commercial relationships by publishing false statement and the use of an illicit SQL injection code.

No better ending to this story than "where are they now?" Michael Roberts is broke, homeless, and trying to get a Visa for his daughter so they can get out of the country (he institutionalized his son 2 weeks after gaining custody, although 60 Minutes paid to drive him out to exploit him in front of the camera, Noah was on his best behavior, because he was promised a chance to be reunited if he did and said what he was told for the cameras). ROBERTS continues to lie, cheat, steal and extort from anyone. This is all done as part of the "Lords calling" he now defrauds people into sending money for his so called 'Fatherfight' website.
Just as he defrauded people claiming he was raising money for Tracey Richter under the 'Mothersdefensefund', that right, he made money off his ex-wife claiming the money was for legal fees and is now raising money claiming it is for his childrens legal fees. ROBERTS owes the IRS $118,923.00 Back child support $35,000.00 legal fees from to Tracey Richter $55,000.00. 60 Minutes Australia sounds a little foolish in claiming Tracey was willing to kill over a measely $1,000 per month given all the money ROBERTS owed her, and his creditors. Once again, a police detective under the penalty of perjury details Michael Roberts financial woes and ROBERTS severe mental health problems in a sworn affidavit (see affidavit here)

MICHAEL USHER: But in yet another twist, Traceys grip on Michael has tightened. Shes won a court order, forcing Michael to pay owed child support even though he now has custody. But let me get this straight. Shes behind bars for life, locked up, you still owe her child support money and you have full custody of your children?
MICHAEL ROBERTS: I have to pay her $40,000 plus, or go to jail at the end of this month.
Interviews like these misinform the public about deadbeats, excusing them for in-excusable behaviours. Child support is the money paid by one parent to the other parent for the support of their children. It is used to help cover the costs of raising a child such as feeding, clothing, housing, and otherwise providing for everyday needs. July 20, 2006 Michael Roberts was found in contempt of court and found $6,630 in arrears.
December 13, 2006 found in contempt of court for not paying child support and $10,326 and the refusal of Michael Roberts to pay for his USA family because he had married a new wife and started a family in Finland.
Roberts is a known con-man and extortionist here in the USA. He is a true whore. We were scammed by him for thousands of dollars in 2004. Here is a portion of the email blast he sent out raising money for a legal fund: "Tracey and I are in Eden with regards with our marriage. Has never been stronger, can't imagine it being any better. As soon as we sell the house we will be moving back to Australia with Bert. Praise the Lord and thank you, Mike" Notice back in 2004 he needed $40,000 also for legal fees and for him to move his family to Australia...this time though, he was raising money for Tracey legal fees. The money went straight to Mike for his personal use at Citizens First Bank in Iowa. 60 Minutes is now helping Roberts raise money once again to move his family to Australia, it is another scam.

Tracey Richter and her children have been nothing more than sacraifical pawns in a quest for Danny and Hannah to earn names for themselves in the Mi9 60 Minutes family. It was shocking when we learned the only polygraph requested by law enforcement and performed by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation was performed on February 13, 2002. That report states that at 2:25PM on February 13, 2002 Michael Roberts was interviewed after taking the polygraph examination was was asked: " if he could offer any explanation why the polygraph examination he had just completed was 99% deceptive on relevant question."
This comprised, in my opinion, the crux of the story. When I wen to my boss he told me he had spoken with Michael Roberts, and he assured us he had a private polygraph from an FBI agent that vindicates him. Vetting that polygraph was problematic as the FBI agent was found to have lied in order to get the results he desired, even in murder trials. My boss again spoke to Michael Roberts and he provided another private polygraph which did state 'inconclusive' in one line on the report, the issue now was how to make this seem like the polygraph requested by the Sheriff and performed by the U.S. Goverment that Roberts failed. That is when we decided not mention the official fail polygraph and substitute one Roberts paid for and claim it was the official polygraph.
We knew it was a lie, but equally knew that we cannot be held accountable. Danny Keens and Hannah Boocock will move on to larger and better paying jobs.
