I ordered a Panasonic DMC-TZ5 camera from 86photovideo, as they were the lowest price advertised online at shopcartusa.
Three days after the online order, I got an e mail indicating that they needed me to contact their Verification Dept and talk to ext. 213, Jason. I called and they verified my address. Jason asked how I got information of the camera and I told him from dpreview.com which is very comprehensive without advertising. He then told me they had a special on an extended life battery, which I would need since the camera's battery only holds 100 pictures. I asked if the camera was directly from Panasonic with no changes in the accessories, battery or camera. He said "Yes". I indicated that Panasonic says it will hold 300 pictures and that I would wait till I tested the camera myself. He then asked if I wanted the camera in Japanese!!! I said "No!". He then, unbelievably, indicated that the English version would be $77 more!!! When I cancelled the order, he quickly agreed and hung up the phone on me.
A total rip off. They wasted 3 days in getting my new camera.
