I learned about "911 Security Group"/ Advanced Security Group from Snagajob.com they advertised well paid position for people interested in security guard positions with great pay no experience needed. I immediately sent my resume and someone from their office gave me a call I then scheduled an Interview and when I went they said I'd need to pay $250 to obtain my 8 Hr. and 16 hr. security certificate. I offered to pay them with a check (Mr. Sampson) the office manager allegedly called his boss to see if this was ok looking back I think he faked the call but back to the story he then told me they are not allowed to accept checks in that amount and that it would be best if I left a deposit me being naive and having some faith in our human race I left an $80 deposit.
A day went by and I began to inverstigate their company and realized that they were nothing more than con artist from the time I entered their office I had suspisicions about their motives however, I let my family and friends talk me into trusting them their office is located in a whole in the wall on 252 West 31st street between 7th and 8th av. suit number 401 DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY OR BOTHER WITH ANY INTERVIEWS!
I asked for a refund and Mr Sampson the head thief said that due to a clause in the contract they cannot give me my money back he said that any amount under $100 is non refundable and that in order for me to get a refund I'd have to leave more than $100 the catch was if I did I'd still only receive the difference so If I left $120 I'd only get $20 back as a refund which is preposterous!! Moral of the story is they are unethical con artist scamming people out of their hard earned dollars EVERYONE BEWARE !!! jobs sites such as monster.com, snagajob.com should not allowed companies such as these to advertise their positions because they're setting people up to be robbed, hoodwinked, bamboozeled, taken for a ride, you catch my drift!
