I went to the 99 cent store and saw they had face paint. I decided it would be great to buy a bunch of it and leave it at my parties since I am a clown. I bought out 2 stores for a total of 91 boxes. I came home and opened one and they looked o.k. So to be on the safe side I called a few people. The first one was poision controll who informed me that the product was not from the USA and had no compliance with any of our standards. Then I called the FDA and they said not to trust it since there was no study of the product in the USA. Then I called my insurance and found that it probably would not be covered under my insurance, since they could not prove if it was a safe not neglent product. So I took it all back. The manager at the first store was rude. She tod me that she could only exchange 9 items, so I said what about the other 42 that I bought at your store. She informed me that I would have to keep them since it would mess up her system. After much yelling on my part she finally took it back. We need to buy American, USA products, so we have some knowledge on what we are putting on our kids faces. My insurance agent told me a child slept with face paint since he would not let his mother was his face. By the next day the child was in the hospital for a reaction to the paints. I have no knowledge of the brand this was, but kids should never sleep with paints. I say this all in good faith, ita all my opinion.
