It is simply a ploy to get your money, nothing more. After getting your money, you are dirt, you are nothing. So be ware!!!
If you wish to contract with a reputable company, find one that is onwer operater of the company and the transport truck. Usually the company will pick up your car and your car does not leave the pick-up vehicle until it gets to destination. Another good thing is that you pay only when the car is delivered - you pay nothing at pick. Any company that ask for money upfront will try to screw you.

It is easy to rebut a negative review by saying it was a competitor. These guys will say anything! I had a bad experienceacross usa auto transport. They are going to find out that their bad reviews are earned and can be buzzed up all over social networking sites. The consumer fights back.
