I bought a service agreement on my Jennair wall oven/microwave that I purchased in November, 2001. On Thanksgiving day, the oven broke down 2 years later. As a result, I bought the service agreement, and sure enough needed it this past Thanksgiving, as the microwave part died. Maytag owned the agreement, and after several failed attempts, allegedly fixed it, but guess what, it died on Christmas Day.

Since the policy was not quite expired, service was scheduled again, under the warranty. But after service calls where only one person was sent to lift out a wall unit when clearly two people were necessary, it has yet to be repaired. Yes, while Maytag sold the policy to A&E, I got the run around for the delay of repair for the month of Jan into Feb before a scheduled appt. And each time, I continue to have to take off work.

So, the unit was "repaired" again, and after 3 uses---died. My next scheduled appt was on Sat April 7th. My morning appt was scheduled to the afternoon. A & E called, and finally said someone was on their way. Did they have a second person to help them/ NO! and then they couldn't understand why we called them stupid.

Sat afternoon, I called two more times about my repair, and got snotty reps that claimed someone was coming. By 4:45 I knew no one was coming, but I called the 800 number again. A person by the name of Linda told me that it had been rescheduled to April 17th, from 8-12. Who made this decision? No one can tell me. A manager was supposed to call me , and guess what? no call. And they can't even confirm when someone who is in charge can call me?

Thanks for now ruining my Easter as well.
I will tell you this. I will NEVER buy a service agreement or recommned A&E. They don't deserve to be in business. I have been on hold for 30 min just to speak with someone. Clearly no one cares or is minding the business.

For the record, I sent a letter to Jennair documenting the troubles with their product, and it is deplorable that no one had the courtesy to address it. You know, when you have to fight through cancer, ill parents and then contend with a bad appliance, it just becomes almost more than one can bear. These people need to have legal action taken against them.

it is now 4/17/07, and another set of repairmen arrived, but since parts had not been ordered, my microwave is STILL NOT REPAIRED. A new date was set, again, without my knowledge. Do they think people don't work?????
