Whoever wrote the original complaint is lying!  I called Linda Spain to prepare my divorce, and just like her ad read, everything was quick, simple and cheap.  I only paid $275 for my divorce with children and property.  The papers were given to me in two days and it was finalized two months later.  I have referred others to her, and she always gives a quote over the phone, and a receipt in hand when she delivers the papers.  I met her in an office and she was very nice, compassionate, and professional, as she was on the phone.

A Legal Hand of San Antonio, Texas has continued to refute the issues at hand, and the fact I was assisted by another licensed professional at HHZ Law Firm.  Linda Spain is a unlicensed person who has no office or place to gather.  The listed address is purely a PO box, there is no record of a license with the State Bar of Texas.  Why would anyone want a unlicensed person to file a divorce on their behalf.  Go to HHZ Law Firm for professional service or any other licensed attorney or law firm.  Public beware, dont have the same problems with this business that I did.  Call HHZ Law Firm or any other licensed firm in town.

I used A Legal Hand for my agreed divorce about two months ago.  The author of the posting is a liar and never used Ms. Spain for a divorce.  His report could not be further from the truth!  From the moment Linda Spain answers the phone, she is the epitome of professionalism and friendliness.  As she states in her rebuttal, she is a compassionate person, and exhibits that from the first phone call you place to her, until the last!  When you meet her in person, she is the same; professional and friendly.  From my initial phone call, she quoted me a price of $250 for my agreed divorce.  She DID and WILL give you a direct price quote over the phone.  When she had the paperwork ready within the next two days, I handed her the payment of $250 and she handed me a receipt.  And I met her in a small office located on the NW part of town.  She works out of her home as many others do, but she always meets with you in a small office outside of where she lives.  The office is furnished with a nice table and 4 chairs, a desk, computer, phone, and two additional chairs where guests that accompanied you can sit and wait for you.  Another reason why I know the author of this posting is a liar if he did not know that she meets you in a seperate office outside of her home!  She informed me during our initial phone call, her divorce preparations do not exceed $299.  The author lied when he said she quoted him a price of $950.  No way!  She is very helpful and informative from the first phone call to the last.  She will also tell you that she cannot give legal advice because she is not an attorney, but she patiently walks you and talks you through the three easy steps it takes to get the divorce.  She also calls you to follow up on the status after you file the papers in court.  She does not disappear after you pay her the money; she is always available to answer your questions, and she continues to answer them with professionalism and friendliness.  Not only is she the cheapest divorce preparer in town, but she is the friendliest of all the ones I called prior to using her.  I referred a friend to her and she had the same great experience with Ms. Spain that I did.  I highly recommend you ignore this liar who posted this false report, and use Linda Spain if you ever need any assistance with your divorce or any other legal document you might need.  It's very sad if HHZ Law Firm did post this false report.  It shows what type of morals they lack.

I am Linda Spain, the owner of A Legal Hand.  I am giving the person who FALSIFIED this report three business days to remove their FALSE posting, or I will investigate further who posted this FALSE REPORT, and sue for slander!  I have NEVER received a call where I don't quote a price, or acted irrate.  NEVER!  That is NOT my style, nor has it ever been.  And I have hundreds of former clients that can all attest to my politeness, and compassion when it comes to helping people out.  Heck, I've even prepared paperwork for FREE when a person calls me crying and cannot afford to leave their abusive spouse!  I have also volunteered to assist with battered women programs and other such programs, to prepare a divorce for FREE when they cannot afford high attorneys fees.  All my calls are received and answered politely, and I will ALWAYS give a quote, as I only charge anywhere between $199 - $299 for ALL of my divorces!  And I have NEVER ever charged anything over $299!  Let alone $950 as the LIAR FALSIFIED in his/her report.  I do not have invoices, nor do I ever mail out invoices.  I give receipts to my clients when the paperwork has been exchanged for the payment.  PERIOD!  So if this is a SLEAZY way for HHZ Law Firm to get free advertisement, and to have someone go as far as to falsify a report on my business that has been in high standing for all the years I have been in business, then I will not hesitate to take this matter to the courts and sue for slander!  And if it is one of those sleazy attorneys who is always harassing me because I charge thousands of dollars less than they would, and they cannot compete, then they will be reported to the Texas State Bar as I've done a couple of others!  And for whoever is reading this TRASH of a website, do ask yourself if this was indeed factual, then why didn't the author of the FALSIFIED report put his/her name and number so that I can contact them?  In the last 3 years, I can't tell you how many sleazy attorneys have tried to intimidate me by playing dirty.  Keep in mind what they charge $2000+ for, I will only charge a max of $299.  I will get an IT expert to trace who posted this, and charge them with slander.
