About a month ago I called them to ask them some questions regarding a character for my son's party. In the middle of asking this person a question, they hung up on me. I called back and they sent me to vm. I figured it was just a bad connection and I let it go.
On Friday, July 10th, 2009 I called back again and in the middle of my question, he hung up again. When I called back, he sent me to vm. I called him back three times and he finally answered. When he answered, I asked him if he was going to hang up on me again and he said he had no idea what I was talking about (although it was the same person who answered the phone).
His tone was very rude from the start. I explained to him what happened last time (how he hung up on me twice) and he disregarded what I said and said, "How can i help you?" I asked him what exactly do these characters do at the party and he replied "well if you look at my website it won't hang up on you and you could get all the information there." I told him I didn't have access to a computer. at the moment so then he repeated three times very rudely, we face paint and play music, face paint and play music, face paint and play music. At this point, I couldn't tell if he was joking or not, but I know he couldn't have been because he had a very rude tone. I was still calm and I asked him how much the services were and he said it cost however much it is for as long as we provide services. I asked him how about for 2 hours and he asked me where I got his number from and I told him that my friend used his company and referred me to him and he said, "Why don't you ask your friend who referred you and she could answer all your questions you because she has all the information for you, you (explicit word) moron!" and then he hung up on me.
After looking closely at his website (after I was able to get access to a computer), it seems as though he doesn't really want you to call him and ask him questions. Hence, this explains why he hung up on me mid-question and sent me to his voicemail which references his website. His website said to call him only when you are ready to place an order and to have your credit card ready. He said all the answers can be found on his website. What if you don't have access to a computer? Furthermore, how is a customer supposed to know if his website is updated? It just really appalling to me that he could act that way to a customer who didn't do anything wrong. I just wanted to clarify some things with him and he was very rude. I refuse to just place an order without speaking to a live person first.
I've been trying to call him back to get an apology and explanation and he keeps turning off his voicemail and one time i called and he played music in the background or just won't say anything. I wish I got his name, but it is the same voice that is on the voice mail recording. What he doesn't know (not that he cares) is that I have huge family parties. I had BUBBLE MANIA (who i highly recommend) come to my son's birthday party last April and he got 3 referrals from my party. This guy just lost a lot of potential clients.
