I had check engine light appearing on my car on 10/23/2011 and hence took my car to AAA at york road for diagnostics. They found fault code p1230 and hence suggested to replace spark plugs and to undergo fuel induction service. This total cost was $389.00. I took the car back from them on the evening of 10/24/2011 and while driving back home the check engine light re appeared. I again drove back to them and they suggested to get the car back the next day. So I took the car back on 10/25/2011 and they cleared the fault codes by reprogramming. They said everything should be fine now. But the check engine light re appeared the next day and I was told to get my car back. They did further diagnostics and now they say they have found further fault codes p1260, p0101 and p1251. The solution is to replace throttle body, and mass air flow sensor and quote was $1574. 1. The problem was never fixed at the first place but they kept on insisting that fault codes are different and blah-blah-blah. 2. I was made to pay around 400$ for spark plug change and fuel induction service which was the wrong repairs and never fixed the problem. 3. I then took the car to Saab dealer and they clearly said that the repairs done by AAA were not the right and all I needed was throttle body change in the first place. Even the manager of AAA Mr.Don agreed to this in front of me.Also they failed to diagnose that vacuum line was broken. I finally got the car fixed by Saab dealer and have all the correct diagnostic report with me from this saab dealer.
