DO NOT use this company to repair your pool, or Spa. The owner, Al Forchetti, will schmooze you, and act like your best friend, UNTIL he has ALL of your money. The guys he sent to install my new liner were VERY unprofessional. Before they started the installation, they required the total balance, less a paltry $300.00, in cash... literally cash.... Not a check! They wouldn't start the work until after my husband went to the bank, and withdrew $4,000.00, plus the tiny $300.00 hold back. The installer, George, counted it, then put it in his sock. I'm not joking. He worked all afternoon, with my big wad of cash IN HIS SOCK! This was after AAA Action Pool Service had already received a $3,500.00 down payment, from me, months ago.
I've never heard of doing business this way. I've since learned that it may even be illegal to require 95% down, before any work is started. After they finished, and received full payment, they left abruptly, without even saying "Goodbye". I turned around,..... and they were just gone. Not surprisingly, after we finished filling the pool, the liner was popping out of the track, there were big folds and creases in 2 corners, and a large bubble, in the liner, on one wall. Also, the plumbing repair, that George did, at the pump, was leaking worse than ever. It's been three days since I called Al, about these issues, and still I don't know WHEN, or even IF, anyone is going to come out to fix these problems.
Mr. Forchetti's response was to give me George's personal cell phone number, and tell me to deal with him." WHAT?" Al Forchetti, who used to talk to m,e for an hour at a time, now gives me the bum's rush, when I call. Why? Because he has all of my money, and so I am not a priority anymore, nor is my pool. By the way, AAA Action Pools, A-1 pools and Spas, A-l Forchetti pools, All Pool Installers, allpoolsandspas.com, A1-poolsandspas.com, etc. are ALL THE SAME company. They have numerous very similar names, and many addresses and phone numbers in the PA/NJ area. They are variously listed as being in Yardley, PA, Morrisville, PA, Bensalem, PA, Springfield, PA, Trenton, NJ, Princeton, NJ, and the list goes on.
All of these similar names, addresses, and phone numbers belong to the same company, which is owned by Al Forchetti. The man is very unethical, and DOES NOT stand by his work. I paid $7,800.00 for shoddy workmanship, and have no recourse, except, if I want to pursue legal action. I will be notifying New Jersey Manufacturers ( my homeowners Insurance Co, and, coincidentally, the largest one in the state) to warn others about this company. Again, DO NOT USE AAA Action Pools, A1- Pools and Spas, or any of its many aliases, that are all the same company, under different names, and owned by Al Forchetti, of Princeton, NJ and/ or Yardley, PA. Now, I am forced to look for another pool service company to fix the mess they left me. AAA Action Pools, by ANY NAME, is a RIPOFF!
