AARGON AGENCY INC Did not remove Paid off bill from credit report. they were informed that bill has been paid since September 2011 Las Vegas, Nevada

Experian will not remove it after I have disputed it and told them that it was paid off and when it was paid off (September 2011).
The report is registered to Aargon Agency and when Aargon contacted me that they were trying to collect on it I told them that it was paid off also and that they should remove it from my credit report.
This situation has stopped a couple of credit applications and I would like something done. Thank You
