AARONS SALES AND LEASE IS HORRIBLE!!! I got a fridge from them, after two payments it quit cooling. I called them Thursday to tell them, they were supposed to come out, and send a tech. No such thing happened. Friday rolled around, I called again. I was told that even though hundreds of dollars worth of groceries were spoiling it would be Monday before they could come out because they had overbooked their schedule, not my problem. No show on Monday.ALL OF MY FOOD SPOILED ASIDE FROM WHAT I COULD FIT IN A COOLER!!

Tuesday morning I was floored and called, they said they would come out Wednesday. I told them just to come and get the piece of junk or I was throwing it out. Two men showed up, after 2 hours of manuevering they said they couldnt fit it through my door without removing the front doors (MIND YOU, THIS IS THE WAY IT WAS BROUGHT IN, FULLY ASSEMBLED!!!) And had to go back to Aarons store and get the tools to take it off and should be back within an hour. They left the wedged fridge in my front door, which made it impossible to close the main door.

2 hours later, they did not show up. I called and the guy said oh they had a delivery and had to take it first, they will come pick it up first thing Friday morning. I told them I couldnt even shut my door, and to come and get it now or at least move it so I could shut my door. Finally another truck, and two men from the other store came and took it out with no problem, and WITHOUT removing the fridge door. WHAT A JOKE THIS COMPANY IS, THEY CHARGE YOU THREE TIMES WHAT ITS WORTH AND CANNOT EVEN HAVE DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Same Thing

I am having the same issue with our local Aarons. My DVD player quit working so I called on Friday and was told by the general manager that someone would be there that day. No one showed. Waited around the house on Saturday. No one showed. Called again on Monday. Was told that someone would be here before 3 on Tuesday (the only times I can't be home is between 2:45pm and 3:15pm b/c I have to get my daughter from school). No one showed. I called and spoke with the general manager again on Wednesday and he was snippy with me. He said that the note said they couldn't come at all after 2:15 and that they had a delivery that day and couldn't make it before then. I told him that they just couldn't come when I was picking my daughter up and he said well its written down right here that we can't come after 2:15. I was like whatever. He said someone would come pick it up that evening, once again no one showed up. I have paid almost $2000 for this DVD player and 42" TV. I expect to get good service if I am going to pay 3 times what these items are worth. I am done purchasing anything from them and will tell everyone I know not to go to them.

Yep - that's Aarons. I had the same problem a couple of years ago with a washing machine. It stopped working, they brought out another one after 2 weeks of broken promises, and IT only worked for one day. I told them to come and pick it up. It sat on my back porch for over 2 weeks before they finally picked it up. Aarons used to be the elite rent to own store. Now they are at the BOTTOM of the heap. How far they have fallen ! Anyone who rents from Aarons is ASKING for trouble.
