ABC Gift Cards abcgiftcards.com Michelle is the queen of the scam. I checked on the status of my card 10 biz days after mailing. After 5 emails and 3 phone calls, I've gotten 1 response and NO MONEY!!!. East Windsor,, New Jersey

I sold an unwanted gift card to abcgiftcards.com on 8/9/12. I emailed the company on 8/23 to check on the status. Michelle responded asking about tracking information that was never provided, and then told me they haven't received my card yet and to check back tomorrow (8/24). USPS standard mail transit time is 2-9 days, so checking in 10 business days later should have allowed enough time for ABC to receive and process my card.

I tried emailing Michelle back and calling the 800 number to get assistance. Nobody answers the phone, EVER!!! You wait on hold for 5 minutes until you get a voice mail. I never received a response on Friday, and attempted to contact them again on Monday 8/27. I left a voicemail and sent an email and still received no response. I tried one last time to get an update on my order on Tuesday 8/28 and have not gotten a response. I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB, whom ABC boasts about thier A rating and outstanding customer service. [continued below]....

This place is a joke!!!! Michelle might be the only person that works there and she is helpless at best, if not completely incompetent and unable to provide minimal amounts of  acutal customer service. I went with this company because they offered more for my card than the other websites, but that's obviously their trap for you to give them your giftcards so they can re-sell them without paying you.

Same issues as everybody else

Steve Lee, you are saying the same things on everybody responses that are still true today.  On my emails from "Jenny," she stated that she would be providing me a full refund (trying to get me not to file a chargeback) if the cards were not received by the time in which I needed.  That time was yesterday.  I emailed them when it was not in my mail.  I received an email today stating -

We apologize for this frustration we may have caused you.

It is clearly stated on our site that there is a delay in shipment. Your order has been sent out.

Please feel free to contact us After you receive your order if you are still unsatisfied. We will be glad to give you a full refund at that time.If there is anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to reply to this email.

This was probably my 6th email to them explaining the fact if the cards were not received by 10/10/2012 I would need a refund.  I have asked for the tracking number and they stated that was only good for delivery confirmation.  So know they can tell that the card has been shipped out with out providing me the tracking number.  My first email to them was on 10/3.  And on 10/5 "Jenny" ask for 3 more business days for the delivery to take place.   Then on 10/10 I emailed to inform them that the card was not here and to ask for a refund and you see the absurd email received.
