ABC Leasing Inc. Edison N.J. Ripped off in a Credit Card Processing Scam Edison, New Jersey

Signed a Lease with ABC Leasing/Ben Abraham for a credit card processing machine for our business. Lease was $39.99 for 48 mos. Machine malfunctioned within 2 weeks. Called Mr. Steven White the rep. and he came and left a used loaner. He never returned with our machine. We called, faxed and sent letters to him, no response. We were forced to go and buy a new machine and returned the loaner to ABC.  

New machine was only $300. After several months we realized ABC was debiting $46.25 from our account which was even more than lease amount. Called & tried to explain the situation. Spoke to Mr. Abraham & Zonia. They didnt care. Said he bought lease from Mr. White and we were responsible.  Sent letters and  stopped payment at bank. Letters came threatening our credit. We sent attorneys letter. Things were quiet for 6 months. Now we received a Summons that ABC is suing us for $3100.

This is a Scam that preys on small business people throughout the country by leasing used or refurbished equipment and overcharging. When you complain or return the equipment they take you to court and sue you personally instead of the business after signing non cancelable leases.  They follow the same fraudulent business practices as Northern Leasing/MBF Leasing which has a lawsuit against them for the same thing.  Prudeman vs. NLSI  They must be stopped.
