A few months ago my hard drive on my computer was malfunctioning and was tested by HP online support who said the hard drive had to be replaced. I took my pc into ABC Warehouse for warranty replacement with full disclosure and printout of HP's report on the hard drive needing replacement. My pc was returned 4 weeks later unrepaired all the service tech done was to do some of the windows udates onto the malfunctioning hard drive ( I did not need a service tech for windows updates!).
I sent a letter to corporate headquarters describing what had happened and called the store manager Ted Mathis who advised me to bring the pc in for repair and he promised that if I had to bring it back in after the repair that it would be replaced with a new computer.
I received the pc back 4 week's later immediatly some of the drivers etc microsoft would not verify I allowed it to continue and with the exception of a few small glitch's it seemed to function properly for a short time now windows will not load and I am forced to do a system recovery on it every other day this past week.
I contacted ABC Warehouse store manager Ted Mathis who now claims he never made that promise that he does not have the authority to do that and that I would have to have it sent to the service tech to determine if replacement is called for. I explained to him that we went through all that process last time and that he promised me that if I had to bring it back in again that I WOULD receive a new replacement.
he now deny's this and says he has no documentation of such agreement with me and basicly called me a liar and said I was calling him a liar for claiming he had in fact made that promise when he says he didn't. he refused to communicate with me any further on it and told me to contact cororate headquarters.
I now can not find an address or phone number for headquarters so am at a loss of what to do. I will never purchase another item from this company.
This pc is still under warranty and they refuse to honor their promise to me.
