Today I first noticed an unauthorized charge by "Flycell" on our Sprint cell phone bill. I didn't know how long it had been being charged, so looked up Flycell on the internet, called them, and inquired. They stated the service was ordered in April 2008 and that someone had to "opt in" twice for the order to be initiated. I assured them that I did NOT order the service (I'm 55 and use the ring tone that came with the phone!!!). The man I was speaking to made it very clear he could not reverse the charges, could not transfer me to anyone else who could help me, and could not do anything for me. When it was clear that he would not/could not help me, I tried a second call and was told the same thing by a lady named (I think) Nancy Josan: that she was the supervisor and there was no other supervisor available--and that even if there was, they would not give a refund. I asked for an identifier of some kind where by our conversation could be accessed for future reference and she gave me: 181779. She had a fairly heavy Indian accent, so I am not sure I understood her clearly.

I can assure you I was very upset at being charged nearly $40. for services I did not want or knowingly submit to. If you can help, please do!!! I hate it when companies rip people off--me and others! After talking to the first guy for 10 minutes, complaining about being charged for a service I did not order, he said "So, do you want to cancel the service?" Aaaagghhh! Brilliant!!!

I did contact Sprint and asked them to block any and all such ringtone companies on all our cell phones. Hopefully, that will help.
