STARTED W/ BRINKS HOME SECURITY IN '95, BROADVIEW BOUGHT BRINKS. FAILED TO GET A BILL FROM BROADVIEW FOR AT LEAST THREE MONTHS. GOT A LARGE BILL, CALLED AND COMPLAINED IN MAR. OF 2010. BROADVIEW SAID, SORRY ABOUT THAT. WE'LL CLEAR OUT THE BILL AND START BILLING AGAIN IN APRIL. SOUNDS GOOD TO ME, THANKS. NEVER REC A BILL IN APRIL AND FORGOT ALL ABOUT THEM AGAIN WITH ALL MY OTHER BILLS. JAN. 2011 GET A COLLECTION LETTER FROM A COLLECTION AGENCY WANTING 188.55 FOR BROADVIEW. CALLED BROADVIEW AND THEY ANSWERED THE PHONE, HELLO, ADT. CALLED ADT AND COMPLAINED THAT I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE SECURING MY HOME AND WHERE'S MY BILL AND WHY DID YOU TURN ME OVER TO COLLECTION. TOLD THEM I'VE BEEN A PAYING CUSTOMER SINCE 1995. THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY TOOK OVER BROADVIEW IN MAY OF 2010 AND THAT MY BILLS HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO THEM FROM THE POST OFFICE. THEY INFORMED ME THAT I NEED TO CALL THE POST OFFICE AND SEE WHY I HAVEN'T BEEN REC'G. THEIR BILLS. I TOLD THEM THAT WASN'T MY RESPONSIBILITY, SHUT MY SERVICE OFF IMMEDIATELY, TAKE ME OFF YOUR COLLECTION LIST. I WILL PAY YOU MY AGREED AMOUNT OF $36 A MONTH UNTIL THE 188.55 IS PAID OFF THROUGH TO THE 27TH OF JAN. '11. THEY SAID NO. I DEMANDED THEY SEND ME A BILL US MAIL CERTIFIED W/ A RETURN RECEIPT. HE, SUPERVISOR, TIM IN IRVING, TX REFUSED. ASKED FOR THE NAME OF THE CEO OF CO. AND HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME THAT TOO. BASICALLY SAID MY COMPLAINT WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH. I WAS TAPING THE ENTIRE CONVERSATION. TRANSCRIBED THE ENTIRE CONVERSATION AND MAILED IT TO THE CEO OF RESIDENTIAL SECURITY, ADT COMPLAINT DEPT IN NEB., TIM'S MANAGER AND ADT'S COLLECTION COMPANY. TIM, IN TX, MAILS ME A COPY OF MY BILLS TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. CORRECT ADDRESS, BUT WRONG CITY AND ZIP CODE. NO WONDER I HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY BILLS AND IF THEY WERE SECURING MY HOME WITH POLICE AND FIRE, HOW WERE THEY, EMERGENCY VEHICLES, SUPPOSED TO GET TO MY HOUSE? AT THIS POINT I DON'T WANT TO PAY THEM ANYTHING. SURE GLAD NOTHING SERIOUS HAPPENED BECAUSE ADT DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHERE I LIVE AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY WERE MY SECURITY COMPANY.
