AE Worldwide Services EXTREMELY SLOW in paying invoices, almost 90 days on next invoice and still not paid Mahwah, New Jersey

  I own and operate my own business and treat my customers well. I'm a handyman so I'm varied at what I do, but I occasionally get calls from companies outside Alabama that request my services.



  When I work representing another company such as AE Worldwide Relocation Services, I treat their customers just as well as I do my own and provide fast, reliable service in a professional manner.  I have worked for a couple of other relocation service companies and they paid me on 30 days cycle.



   AE agreed  to also pay me on 30 days but, I did a job in Hoover, AL, (and I have to purchase all material out pocket) and since it was a last minute rush, I even dropped everything else, drove 70+ miles to do this job and completed it the same day they requested it.  I sent photos and my invoice via email on 11/14/2012.  I got that check on 01/04/2013, ten days short of 60 days.  ($401.57)


   The person I was dealing with said they'd get me on a 30 day pay so I trusted them and took more work.  My next job completed on 12/26/2012, that check was cut on 3/08/13.  Distance 142 miles  ($166


   The next was completed on 12/31/12 (yeah, I went out on New Year's Eve to help them out) and this one, I drove all the way to Saltillo, Missiippi, 390 mile round trip, guess what, I still haven't gotten that check.  It is 3/26/13 so 90 day mark will be the end of this month.  ($688.68)



   I only have one left to be paid for from them after that one and it was completed on 2/6/13 so I don't guess I'll see that one until May or June if I'm lucky. 337 miles, drove all the way to Columbus, GA for this one.  ($326.33)



   I was willing to go wherever they needed me, but they can't show me the courtesy of paying me on time.



   Fair warning;  if you're not in a hurry to get paid, feel free to take over my work with them.  I was told in a voice mail from the person handling my invoices "money is very short right now, we're trying very hard to get you paid"  I keep getting promises that I'll be paid...  when I owe money, if I don't pay it within 30 days I have to pay a late fee and it can go on my credit as a bad mark, how can they get away with not paying me?  They get their money and they are a company, I'm an individual and this is how I live. 



   I'm owed $1015.01 and once that's paid I won't have to worry any longer as I will not accept further work from this company and I suggest you don't either.  I personally think they should pay a late fee to me and I've requested it many times but to no avail.
