AG AFFILIATES I called this company about taking a security class and then found out therre license is REVOKED Bayshore, New York

I am a New York State licensed and certified security guard and got my state license though classes I took with AG Affiliates MONTHS after this so-called rip off "report" was posted in October 2012.

My friend got his armed guard license through them last year in 2012 and referred me to this so-called "revoked" school. I took my classes in January 2013 at two of their locations and have been licensed and working for over a month with my new license now. They even helped me get my job by helping me with my resume and sending me to my new employer without costing me one penny for that.

I have no idea what the problem could be but I have an official state ID in my possession which I could have NEVER received without this school's certifications! They are are also listed on the state's own website as a licensed security guard school in Suffolk County like a few others have already said.  So then my question is why would a "consumer" post such a very lengthy, detailed, and fraudulent report on a site like this when they do not claim to have done any business with this school that has helped so many including me?  They claim to have lost nothing, that they never even visited the place, so why are they so pissed?  Are they so concerned about their fellow man? LOL  I don't think so. Something else must be up with "joeya" who cannot seem to even spell. And thank goodness because I have my license and a job through the school he told a BIG falsehood about!

I know three people who had a new opportunity at gainful employment with this training school. One of them is a wounded vet (my cousin) who was trained for free. He loved it so much he got two of his friends to go and they found good jobs! He did research on the Department of States web site and saw that AG Affiliates was a great school. He said he spoke to one of the trainers (who was actually ex-black ops , ex navy seal...had a whole bunch of credentials) and that the bad reports were spam.

Owners of other schools have no morals. They purposely slam this school to knock it down. I think thats pretty dirty. All I know is I'm thinking about becoming a security guard now because there seems to be a demand for it. I know which one I'm going to. They helped my cousin out without charge and that speaks VOLUMES to me about the character of this school's mission. I'm in! AG Affiliates rocks!

It is a crying shame that someone would post such a negative, cutting, and false report about a company that trains Wounded Warrior Heroes that served our country and then places them into jobs for FREE!  It has done so for years, and pays special attention to all veterans, not just those wounded in combat or with service connected disabilities.

The person who posted this report talks about "this guy" but there are quite a few instructors at AG Affiliates that specialize in different areas.  It is a real company and a company I know personally. They are definitely licensed by New York State to operate as some have already indicated above. I  am currently an advanced student, and am PROUD to say that I was trained by those who were former US military special operations teams (Green Berets and Navy SEALs, etc.) and also from law enforcement. The head of the school was once a US marshal and his associate was FBI among things.

It is very easy to check all of this out yourself by going to New York State's own web site. All you have to do is put in the search terms "New York State security guard license" and the state Criminal Justice Services official web site comes right up. The state's site has links on it to the approved and licensed schools, and AG Affiliates is definitely listed under "Suffolk County". 

While I appreciate RipOff Report's efforts to protect consumers and like its general style, I am giving a "thumbs down" to whoever wrote the original complaint as it hurts the school's reputation and therefore effectively cripples their efforts to help the Wounded Warriors and others in need in some way. 

Why doesn't RipOff Report go online for themselves and set the record straight!

This is a highly operating school
This teacher has a very high reputation
The company or person who posted this negitive remark about this teacher
And school , has the facts wrong and the wrong information. This school is a five star school.
Who ever posted this negitive information on Rip off report
Is clearly trying to make this schools wonderful ongoing
Reputation ruined. This school is listed with New York state.

I don't know what the problem is because my son used them to get his security guard certification.  I found this ripoff site and report while looking for their phone number again on Google, and I immediately went to the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services site today only to find that they are NOT REVOKED and are IN FACT are listed on the approved security guard school list under SUFFOLK COUNTY.

I do not know what the motivation was for the person who wrote this complaint, but whatever the case there seems to be some misunderstanding about this school by him.

I appreciate the post, if this isn't a competitor trying to steal business. But the company is in good standing with state, As of 1/8/13. Hopefully this helps someone.
