After finally talking us into buying 2 of their magazines that we really didn't want but got to try to help these poor kids, they left in a hurry with 1/2 our money. They gave us 2 stubs to send in the rest of the money in order to get our magazines.
Not long after these kids were at our home, we received a letter in the mail reminding us to send in our other half of payment. We sent in a check along with the stubs after photocopying the letter. After waiting for such a long time we decided that we had probably been scammed so I checked on the internet.
Sure enough! They had gotten us too! These people have scammed probably thousands like us. Wouldn't this make it a federal lawsuit due to the amount of funds taken? Hopefully someone will catch up to them & stop this scam that uses children to do their dirty work!
We will never allow any kids to solicit at our door again due to this. Such a shame that you can't even trust kids!
