my audi is still missing. it was taken through a company called amg, and deram works. i cannot get a police department to help me with this, they have proven to be to lazy to get involved. has anyone had the same experiance with this company steeling you car, and if you did, were you able to find a police department to help you ?

Looks like you gave them permission to take your car

AUTHOR: FloridaNative - ()

Isn't Dream Works an auto leasing type company? Based on the attachment to your report, it looks like you signed a contract with someone to give them your vehicle in exchange for something (you didn't indicate exactly what).  That may be the reason the police haven't become involved yet because this is a breach of contract and not outright theft from what I can tell from your post.

Because you have a contract, you need to take steps to take the lessee to court for default under the contract. First get in touch with an attorney in your area to see what your remedies are for this since you voluntarily turned over your car to them in the first place. You may want to make your payments current so you don't lose the car to repo by the finance company.

For the future, don't turn your vehicle over to a stranger without payment of the vehicle up front. The risk is too high.
