I purchased a pair of boots from this online company after doing a web search (and, I admit, I should have done a search for how reputable the company is, I figured if I'm using Paypal, it couldn't be all that bad, right? Wrong!). Anyways, I received them in a timely manner, but the quality was unacceptable, they were the wrong size, and even a different style than what I had ordered. The next day I sent an email to them and received a phone call from Duke, a rep., and he said that if I sent them back, I would receive a full refund and they would even pay for my shipping. I thought this was ok, until I sent them the boots, and for two weeks never heard a thing! I received a generic email from them stating that I would get a store credit. Of course, this was the OPPOSITE of what me and Duke had discussed!!! After tons of emails and phone call attempts (their phone line is ALWAYS off the hook) I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It turns out there are TONS of complaints with this company and they have NOT responded to about 99% of them! It's almost more frustrating that they did respond to about three and then stopped! After a couple months of this game that they are playing, I decided that if I was going to have any justice it would probably be in just sucking it up and using the store credit... at least I wouldn't feel completely ripped off..... And then, the icing on the cake: THE STORE CREDIT WAS A FAKE NUMBER!!! Not even something I can use!!!!! They have my money, the boots, ignore phone calls and apparently have done this to MANY customers!! All I ask is that I, as a college student who works hard to support herself and does not have tons of money to shop with, get a refund! Is that too hard to ask? I just don't want to see anyone else get ripped off as well.
