The LIES start with the help wanted ad in the newspaper titled "SIRIUS" which it is NOT SIRIUS as he miss-represents, they sell SIRIUS so you can calm down because you will not be working for SIRIUS at ALL and if you even try to contact a SIRIUS executive he will fire you. "Base Salary $28,000 Year + Residuals for life" // NOT !! $11 hr to start and then after a month or so after you feel a little secure and give up on finding the better job he LOWERS YOUR PAY to $10 an hour and says that you will make commission now too.....NOT!!
This is a long story, started in 1991, Clayton Burton, owner started this bus. recruiting and promising the sales people about a CAREER, and the residuals will be huge and every few years as soon as you work very very hard to get up there in pay, he fires you so he does not have to pay you the residuals and then starts a new crew. This guy has little man syndrome as he is about 5'4" tall and I personally had TWO $50,000 sales ready to sign and he knew it so he made an excuse and fired me . So I called the companies and told them not to buy, so he lost like his soon to be best salesman ever, and NO HUGE $100,000 Contracts too.
Anybody else can add but do not until you are ready to be fired for standing up to his deceptive recruiting tacticts and STEALING food out of your families mouths with out telling you.

Everything negative that was said is true. But the first person said you started at $11 an hour plus commission. Not anymore. I started out at $9.25 and he just bumped everyone up to a whopping $10 an hour with guidelines impossible to reach. They "updated", and I use this word loosely, to basically a crappy trial and error program that was not even tested. I personally lost several sales due to the program not working when I was trying to take them on an online walkthrough, and even worse a couple times when the customer was trying to pay! Here's the deal with the pay, and I'm not sure it's legal (well, in Florida "worker's rights" is an evil word), if you are not on the phone more than 50% (sounds easy, but extremely difficult when you have to take notes and do call backs), this lowers the quality of calls. It even clock you out if you take too long (like 5 mins.) So basically, you have to clock out to go to the bathroom. You also have to get 37.5 hours a week. If these 2 measures are not met, he drops you down to min. wage without even telling you. So everytime I get a check, I have no idea if I'm gonna get ripped off again. And I can't do a d**n thing about it! The commission structure is ridiculous, starting out at 3%. It's a sliding scale, but to reach anything above 8% is almost impossible. He, our boss, will not pay you your last commission check if you are fired, quit or even put in a 2 week notice. Does anyone know if this is legal? I'm frustrated, but I need a job. I could go on about all the other things, but the prior comments covered that. And yes, the EOS and everything with our brand on it (made in china), is a piece of crap.

Let me say everything is true about AMTC.

Clayton is a heartless monster. He took away paper towels in the office. Want to whipe up something in the bathroom. Sorry you can't. On a weekly occasion you will be embaressed to work there when you hear loud F bombs coming out of his office. He will micro manage everything you do and you will hate working here. Sales people get horrible comission. I mean 2-3% is pathetic. People who work there are not all bad, but people hire idiots and drug addicts, alcoholics and pedofiles. Not fun to watch your personal items while at work. Money, wallets, speakers all will get stolen. Someone even stole a 42 inch tv from the warehouse. How do you have cameras everywhere and not see someoen stealing a tv lol.

Away from him is the product. If you deal with AMTC buy SIRIUS only.  However don't expect to have it work for a long time. They sell refursbished car  headers which will stop working after 14 months. When does the warranty run out? 12 months.

30 day money back is garbage. He will try to sell you on other products when honest people just want there money back.

Eos is the "future" product of this company. Haven't heard of it? Don't worry nobody has. In theory its a great product. But it is an inferior product. The music is garbage. Small labels with a lot of synthasized music.  Some days the music doesn't work. A lot of the time the messaging doesnt work. If you want to get your money back after it doesnt work good luck.

Not everything this company sells is bad, just the owner and the quality of the product. You will be treated like garbage by the ownership and will get rippe doff with Eos, Trust me.

This "complaint" really needs to come down.  It isn't even a criticism of any product or service that the company offers.  It's just a miserable screed by a disgruntled ex-employee who couldn't hack it in sales and wound up getting fired.  He has taken his slander campaign against AMTC to Wikipedia as well as this site.  Judge the company on the merits of what it sells and offers, not on the whiny rants of a loser who couldn't sell a life preserver to a drowning man.
