AP9*PRIVACYMATTERS123 Unlawfully and Fraudulently charged my VISA account. Never heard of them. Called them and he tried to get info from me. Internet

Recieved my credit card statement and noticed a charge from this Privacymatters123 for $19.95. Their ph. # was listed so I called and asked who they were and what they sold. The rep. would not answer just wanted to know who I was. I told him and said in the same sentence that I did not order anything from them. He immediately got beligerent and said it must of been some one in my family using my card. I said no I am the the one who uses my card. He looked up my name and could not find it but made a stupid statement by asking do you live on (can't remember) this street. I said no.

So he prompted for more information. I gave him my wife's name and could not locate any info. Then he wanted our phone number thats when I realized he was looking me up on the internet to try and validate his false claim by finding out my address and any other information he could use as leverage. This guy was loud as to intimidate and would not asnwer any of my questions just kept asking his own. Seems like a typical procedural checklist he was going down to try and get info. to dispute any claims against this clearly rip off scammer and this fraudulent company. I will be looking into the CT. attorney Generals office for resolution also.
