The company's management specifically told us about how their job is to simplify lives and help people to live intelligently. The management really wants every person who buys a system to feel valued. The concern for each customer's experience starts at the top, and is reflected in the action of every employee they hire.
The company also works to monitor their sales and customer support calls to see how they can be improved. They use these calls as examples for employees in training. APX Alarm Security Solutions Inc Deceptive Sales & Violation of Contract ripoff Provo Utah
Purchased alarm monitoring service with APX Alarm after a convincing sales pitch, with a guaranteed rate that would not change for 60 months. Salesperson said all taxes were included in the monthly price. Two months later, get a notice that my monthly fee is going up because they were paying local taxes on behalf of customers due to an internal billing deficiency. Yeah, right. I called to object, and the lousy phone clerk (and that is being generous) said I had no recourse and there was nobody else to speak with. If I wanted to cancel the service, he informed me I could mail them full payment of $2900 for the term of the contract. I then called my sales person (fortunately, he left his cell number). Promised to resolve and call me back but, of course, no call. This company has zero customer service and I'd encourage folks not to fall into a trap with them. I've included a similar message in my homeowners association newsletter, and passed along many e-mail alerts. I'm disappointed I didn't do more research on the company before signing the contract (I checked with the local BBB and the reputation was acceptable), but there sure is a lot of negative feedback on various other sites. I was willing to live up to my end of the bargain, but that wasn't good enough for them. Live and learn, I guess, but if I can save others from this disastrous company, then that's something.
