You can expect to have any questions or concerns that you have with them to be answered and resolved in a timely manner. They have shown us their customer service process, and it reflects a desire to serve customers, as well as fix problems.
The company's management specifically told us about how their job is to simplify lives and help people to live intelligently. The management really wants every person who buys a system to feel valued. The concern for each customer's experience starts at the top, and is reflected in the action of every employee they hire.
The company also works to monitor their sales and customer support calls to see how they can be improved. They use these calls as examples for employees in training. Currently, Vivint is working to make changes to their contracts to make things easier for their customers as they have found that many of their complaints stem from feeling misled or customers paid fees they did not feel they authorized.

NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED
APX Alarm System Fire HazardNo Warrenty No Contract Release Provo Utah
In Feburary, our company, an automotive repair center, under a different owner, had installed a wireless APX security system.
The installer had placed several wireless contact points around our building, one being placed on our garage door, were they made their first mistake.
The installer made the contact excessively long where it did not need to, and then did not secure the cable to the wall properly, second they left with said cable in the path of the garages track, which allowed the wire-lead to be pinched when the door was later closed the same day of install.
In addition the control panel constantly beeped, the owner believed that this was due to the garage door sensor, although, now, I am finding that very doubtful.
Now, that specific owner has left the company, and myself, a new co-owner has taken his place. I was not aware of the full details of what was what with the alarm, when I tried to make it operational.
I plugged in the control panel, as it had since been unplugged, and noticed that their was nothing displayed on the screen. I then opened the unit, to check the batteries, and that is when I noticed that the device had charred.
The electronics had been scorched, without any cause. There has not been any power surges in our area, and nothing had been spilt on the panel.
I called APX tech support, and they said we would have to pay $200 to replace the unit, even though, to our knowledge it had never worked properly.
I disputed the fee's they wanted to charged, and was then told that we would be required to pay off the remainder of the contract, even if we were unable to use it.
The type of damage to the control panel is clearly the result of faulty (fire-hazard) equipment, and not an "Act of God" as they claim, without inspection.
Our company has contacted Honeywell, manufacturers of the control panel, but was told that they don't warranty to end-users. I was able to file a complaint about APX however.
We have also filed a complaint with the BBB, and are willing to take this issue as far as we can. Our lives could have been at stake, and their heartlessness, deserves our full legal retaliation.
