Ripoff Reports discussions with the company have uncovered an ongoing commitment to total customer satisfaction. You can expect to have any questions or concerns that you have with them to be answered and resolved in a timely manner. They have shown us their customer service process, and it reflects a desire to serve customers, as well as fix problems.
The company's management specifically told us about how their job is to simplify lives and help people to live intelligently. The management really wants every person who buys a system to feel valued. The concern for each customer's experience starts at the top, and is reflected in the action of every employee they hire.
The company also works to monitor their sales and customer support calls to see how they can be improved. They use these calls as examples for employees in training. Currently, Vivint is working to make changes to their contracts to make things easier for their customers as they have found that many of their complaints stem from feeling misled or customers paid fees they did not feel they authorized. APX Alarm Montronics Company "no contract" 2 yrs. now on 5 yr. contract. Can't afford now disabled! Their collectors threatening me! West Provo, Utah
My mother and I were both taken by this company. We had 2 sales associates that stated they were college students from Texas who told us what a "GREAT SECURITY SYSTEM & COMPANY" APX Alarm was & that as a "Special" they were offering us a "no contract" $ 99.00 installation and $ 43.00 per month to sign up for their system. Within 30 minutes there was a technician at my mothers and one on the way to my home. I kept reiterating about the no contract as I had lost my job due to illness, had no idea what my financial future was and to this day am waiting for my Social Security Disability. I receive $ 448.00 per month cash & $ 377.00 for food. My mortgage alone is over $ 650.00 per month. I have gone thru my savings 401k & have had to borrow from family & friends to get by until my SSD hearing which I just found out will not be until Jan. 2011. He assured me, even putting a line across the 5 yr. contract clause (unfortunately) not hard enough to go thru to my copy! that there was absolutely NO CONTRACT what so ever! I need every penny I get to support my 15 yr old son & myself and my power, heat, water, sewer & garbage along with mortgage is my main concern. Have for over 2 yrs. made their payment and I can not do it no more! Now their collectors are not only threatening me but my mother as she was the one the contracts were under because I was unemployed! My mother is in her 70's and is having major surgery Sept 30th, five days from now that could leave her paralyzed or have a stroke or heart attack! She can not afford to pay for this bill either. So now that my life is out there on my sleeve... What can I do? Just chalk it all up to stupidity on my part? Let these people go after my mother? "THIS IS NOT AN OPTION"! They told her she had until Thursday which was yesterday or they would come after her with all they got! Please if anyone has any suggestions... They are very much needed and appreciated.
