Blindsided by ASF International and Victory Martial Arts. It's amazing that they are still open for business. Where is the protection for the consumer? They got an F with the Better Business Burea! After reading all the compaints about ASF I feel like I needed to share our story so that others will not be scammed. Three years ago my husband signed a contract with Victory Martial Arts in San Antonio, TX. Victory Marital Arts scammed him into a three year contract with lots of smooth talking. We unsuccesfully tried to get out of the contract. Victory offered us a discount if we paid the contract in full so we did this. He never even used the membership. Now three years later we are getting a random bill from ASF asking for a $100 dollars per month for memebership dues. They did not send us a renewal notice to give us the option not to renew. I called them and they said that our contract has renewed automatically and that if we want to cancel we have to give them $100 and 30 days notice to canel the memebership per our contract. Dues will keep accruing at $100 per month unitl we cancel. They insisted that I am obligated to pay a $100. Word to the wise never sign a contract for a health club membership or martial arts classes. Read the fine print.

The membership agreement that Beth's husband signed is clear regarding the automatic renewal. There isn't any fine print at all. It is a clear clause just under the initial terms that her husband signed for.
