AT&T Advertising Solutions AT&T Advertising Fraudulent business practices, lies, and breach of contract Henderson, Nevada

My company was "guaranteed" to be at the top of the search list and promised we would receive 20-30 calls per week "easily", which would "easily pay for the advertising bill with one client", said the sales rep.  We were not given a copy of a contract to read or review, we were "explained" what we were signing up for, then asked to sign electronically on a computer in order to meet the "live" deadline that we were also promised (Dec. 31).  From that point on AT&T did not show up for meetings, they cancelled our "webmercial" without notifying us and they did not meet the promised date for our site to go "live".  

When we did receive a "congratulations" letter which reported that our site had gone live.... NOTHING that we were promised was live at all.  I immediately contacted the sales manager, Aaron Wax, who gave me the run around and did not fix the problem.  4 days after our advertising campaign had supposedly gone "live", almost $1500 was withdrawn from my account.  I printed off all the yp.com pages where my advertising was supposedly "live" and it was clearly NOT.  I have every correspondence and all the pages printed out with the date on them.  

The very next day I sent a letter via email, US Mail, and Certified Mail to AT&T and demanded that they immediately close my account  and stop using anything related to my business based on contractual breaches by AT&T, including: failure to complete the video shoot when and how agreed resulting in actual losses to my business; failure by AT&T to activate the online advertising when and how agreed and numerous other breaches of contract.  They never responded.  I closed my bank account at that time because they refused to contact me to resolve the issue.  In fact, when I contacted Mr. Wax he informed me he sent my letter "to legal" and I would hear from them shortly, but he could no longer talk to me because I cancelled my contract.  I never heard from anyone other than their "credit department".  5 months later someone from the credit department informed me that they never received my letter (despite the signed delivery notice I have in my possession).  They told me my letter had to be sent to their legal department through them (credit department) and REFUSED to give me the address to AT&T legal department!

Per the credit department's request I faxed them a copy of my letter, but once again NEVER heard back from the legal department.  The credit dept. said that cancelling a contract isn't an option, whether they breach the contract or not and they sent my "account balance" to collections. 

AT&T Advertising Solutions is a scam and I have spoken to 4 other companies in the same field as I am in who have had the exact same experience.... only some of them were suckered into paying $3-4,000 per month!  And those companies know people from other companies that have had the same experience!  What a fraud.  They should be stopped!!  We never received ONE phone call where someone actually wanted to USE our service, the few "leads" just asked us stupid questions and hung up (we guessed it was the sales rep attempting to make it look like we were getting phone calls).  As a matter of fact, we received NUMEROUS calls that were supposedly "leads" but they weren't inquiring about our field of work at all, rather looking for something entirely different. 

TOTAL SCAM!!!
