I am an investigative print and broadcast journalist, and AT&T/SBC/Ameritech/AT&T Yellow Pages/Yellowpages.com repeatedly printed my full name and home address for nearly 7 years. This resulted in injury to self and property, threats, privacy issues, protection issues, etc. In addition, they repeatedly listed my business address and phone number incorrectly for nearly 7 years.

At one point, they simply changed my number so my personal calls were going to someone else, and vice versa. They also initially incorrectly installed my home fax line, and wouldn't fix it unless I paid; even though it was right on the work order where to install it!

Look for the fine print about mandatory arbitration and damges which is outrageous. The State is now looking into this as well, since it's been overturned in many other states.

AT&T representatives also will lie, give you wrong numbers, addresses etc. to keep you from filing a complaint against them. Yes, I have proof...and an insider told me of a memo that asked that no one talk to me.

Think they're guilty? So do a lot of people, and the media is contacting me about it so hopefully they will stop their unethical practices.
