Since our wireless bill has been coming for a family plan (we have three cell phones on plan), they have been charging for the second line as an additional line when it should be covered under the family plan and any line after the first two are added lines.

Here is the link showing the rates.

My first question is, are you sure that you're being double charged? Whenever you look at rates on the web or even a brochure it shows the total. When you look on your bill, it shows everything separated out...for example.

a 1400 minute rate plan (with no features) for two lines is listed as 89.99.

when you look on your bill it will show as

80.00 for the primary line for 1400 minutes

9.99 as the second line

Same total, but different ways of showing it. I work in a retail store and this system is all automated so it is impossible that it is an oversight. If you are being charged additional then there has to be a reason (extra feature, 3rd party download, who knows). My best advice would be to talk to an AT&T rep and get them to detail your plan and speak up if anything sounds incorrect. Also take a detailed look at your bill and if it does in fact say $19.99 add a line or $89.99 for 1400 minutes and $9.99 for the second line, then you know there is a mistake, but you must be specific.
