I have already called AT&T and they confirmed that indeed I do have the "service" and it is associated with my cell phone and is indeed only $2.99/month...
In asking who signed me up (it took a few minutes to determine this) first time back that it looked like it MAY have been done in a walk-up AT&T store, second time it was thought that maybe enrollment happened on-line, third check found it was a computer generated enrollment that was not requested nor wanted.
I was canceled and no charges apply to me but there WILL be others I am sure who will not read the flier sent out by AT&T. It is a 48 to 60 lb weight flier 8 X 11 standard letter size folded two time juts like the fliers they send out letting you know you have an "upgrade" available........
Glad I read my junk mail and can read!
I let the very nice lady who assisted me know the "this isn't right" and guess what? she agreed...
