AT&T allowed someone to hack into my account take phone numbers I called and repeatedly call and harass the owners of the stolen numbers.I had a family plan in which 3 people dropped their lines and went to other carriers in fear that their friends and families would continue to be harassed.
AT&T refuses to take any blame, help me in removing the 3 lines from my account with out a cancellation fee and continue to bill me monthly charges for those lines. When I call to discuss this matter they transfer me from department to department telling me that a security code has been placed on my account so this issue wont happen in the future, that is if I am not placed on hold for 20 minuets or more than disconnected.

ATT is not "allowing" anyone to "hack" your numbers. YOU signed a contract and the terms of that contract state that if you disconnect for ANY reason, you MUST pay the ETF. YOUR account was NOT hacked. You have SOMEONE YOU KNOW calling and harrassing. THAT IS NOT AT&Ts FAULT!!!!! Their job is to provide a service and collect on that service. NO ONE can exempt YOU out of the CONTRACT THAT YOU SIGNED!!! Only AT&T can do that, and they WILL NOT give you a pass. You MAY have had your phone cloned or your SIM card cloned. THAT is NOT AT&Ts fault either. YOU are seeking to hold THEM accountable for something they have ZERO control over. Heres a thought, just block the numbers that are harrassing you.

YOU have made a few assumptions, YOU have accused AT&T of a serious wrong doing. The information that YOU are accusing AT&T of allowing someone access to is NOT on your regular account and is MAINLY part of the BILLING dept. YOUR lack of knowledge is what has caused you to make a FALSE report.

You will just have to eat the ETF because AT&T is NOT AT FAULT!!!! Maybe next time READ what you are signing. You got so happy to get your new phone that you just signed away. Had you actually READ the T&C of the wireless contract that YOU agreed to, you would see that it doesnt matter WHAT the excuse is. When you cancel even ONE DAY before your contract is to expire, YOU are responsable for the Early Termination Fee.

Plus...Personally Im not buying YOUR story. I know for a FACT that AT&T doesnt display ANY numbers OTHER then which phones are on your account. No I dont work for them. But I DO interact with AT&Ts activations. I do interact with cellphones from EVERY major carrier. If the person who wishes access to ANY wireless account wants into it to make ANY changes, they MUST have the pin/passcode. That is the ONLY way into YOUR account. If they have that information, then it is someone you know messing with you. Its even HIGHLY unlikely that your phone was cloned. Did you donate or throw away a old phone?? If so, THAT would make MORE sense then what YOU have accused them of. Odds are that you and the people on your plan found better prices or plans elsewhere and you just want to go with them and you will say ANYTHING so you can get out of paying.

And the solution to YOUR problem is to just CHANGE YOUR CELLPHONE NUMBER!!!!!Then you text your new number to all the people who you have on your contacts list. All this BS story is, is FAKE DRAMA!! Manufactured BY YOU for the BENEFIT of YOU so YOU dont have to pay the cancellation fee.
