Renewed antivirus software online and was charged a "foreign transaction fee".  According to the credit card company, the charge originated in CYPRES, not the United States of America, hence the fee!

is charged by your credit card or bank not the company. While the company. like many others, may process their payments requests from outside the United States this fee doesn't go to tem. Talk to whatever company (Visa, Mastercard, etc) has their name on your card.
